The Christopher Killer by Ferguson

I'm not much of a mystery fan, but I enjoy learning things I didn't know, so The Christopher Killer by Ferguson was a pretty good read. The story follows Cameryn, the coroner's daughter, as she begins a job as her father's assistant.

There's a lot of cool science stuff in here - lots of chemistry and logic. There's also a fair amount of gore, so if you have a weak stomach, don't read while eating. The family dynamic in Cameryn's family is a little far-fetched, as is her relationship with a much older sheriff's deputy. The tv spiritualist character is a bit stereotypical as well, but when all is said and done, it's a decent book.
